Sarah began running in 2011 as a way to get back into shape after graduating college. As a 3rd generation marathon runner, Sarah grew up attending Grandma’s Marathon each year to cheer on her father and grandfather. Sarah joined the MDRA marathon training class in order to help her tackle her first marathon, Grandma’s, in 2012. Since then, she has completed 29 marathons, spanning 17 states and two international marathons, both with fellow MDRA members. Sarah has also acted as a team lead in the training program 3 times, and has been on the MDRA board since 2016. In Summer 2015, she also earned her RRCA coaching certification, and co-coached the fall training group in 2017. She looks forward to lead and inspire other runners to their goal races this fall!
